Standards Referenced

Referenced Grade Data

Each document identifies its reference standard or data source. Grade values and applicability are confirmed for the selected material and manufacturing route in the project specification.

Confirmed for the Project

Grade data beyond the files listed here is confirmed for the material and route of the part, together with the project specification.

Material Datasheets

Permanent Magnet Material Specifications

Magnetic property, physical property and coating reference data by material. Each file carries a summary of what it covers above its download button — the grade range, the property values or the coating thicknesses — so you can tell whether the datasheet answers the question before opening it. Applicability to a part is confirmed for the selected material and route in the project specification.

  • Hard Ferrite Magnet Properties & Physical Properties (PDF)
Reference data for the twelve sintered strontium grades we quote, Y30H-1 through Y40: residual flux density 380–460 mT, coercivity HcB 160–354 kA/m, intrinsic coercivity HcJ 165–360 kA/m and maximum energy product 27.0–41.8 kJ/m³ grade by grade, followed by the physical properties of the same grades — sintered density 4.5–5.1 g/cm³ and Curie temperature 460–480 °C. Use it to place a requirement between two grades before a drawing is quoted; what a delivered batch has to meet is agreed on the drawing or the purchase order, not in this table.

  • Sintered NdFeB Magnetic Properties (PDF)
Sintered NdFeB across seven series — N, M, H, SH, UH, EH and AH — from N35–N55 down to 28AH–45AH: residual flux density 1020–1470 mT (N55 above 1470 mT), intrinsic coercivity from ≥955 kA/m in the N series to ≥2786 kA/m in AH, (BH)max 207–446 kJ/m³, and maximum operating temperature from 80 °C (N) to 230 °C (AH). The temperature a part actually sees is confirmed per project.

  • Sintered NdFeB Physical Properties (PDF)
Density 7.40–7.80 g/cm³, Vickers hardness 550–650 HV, compressive strength 1050 MPa, tensile strength 80 MPa, bending strength 290 MPa, electrical resistivity 1.4 µΩ·m, thermal conductivity 6–8 W/(m·K) and thermal expansion of −1.5 (⊥) and 6.5 (∥) ×10⁻⁶/K — the values a motor or sensor design has to carry. Reference values for the material line; the guaranteed window of a specific grade is stated on the quotation.

  • Sintered NdFeB Coating Options (PDF)
Coating type, appearance and thickness for sintered NdFeB: NiCuNi 5–20 µm (barrel or rack), Cr³⁺ zinc and coloured zinc 4–15 µm, black nickel 5–20 µm and epoxy 15–65 µm, an overall 4–65 µm range. Salt-spray hours and adhesion requirements are not fixed by this table — they are agreed on the drawing or the purchase order.

Manufacturing Routes

Manufacturing & Technical Documents

Manufacturing route diagrams and technical reference documents for ferrite and NdFeB magnets. Each file carries a summary of what it covers above its download button, so you can tell which route document answers the question before opening it; inspection points, tooling and magnetization are confirmed for the project.
